Nicole Owner USAG Professional Member NCSI Background Checked “I began coaching gymnastics since 2002 as an employee of Mississippi Valley Gymnastics, then my husband, Joe, and I purchased the gym from the former owners in 2012, and we changed our “brand” to Fitnastics in 2013. Outside of the gym, Joe and I are both volunteer members of the Clinton County Emergency Management CERT Team (Community Emergency Response Team), and part of the Moulage Team for CCEMS. I enjoy sharing my love of gymnastics with children and I love seeing children come in to the gym and put more dedication into this sport than some people put into their entire life. I am so blessed to have the honor to work with the kids who walk through our doors and I am grateful to have the opportunity to influence them during such a pivotal time in their lives.” Nicole’s Training and Certifications Include: School of Competitive Gymnastics: Women’s Artistic Gymnastics: Jr. Olympic Team Coach USA Gymnastics University Courses: U100: Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction Certification U110: USOC SafeSport Certification U101: Safety & Risk Management Certification U310: USA Gymnastics Region 4 Congress– 2009 & 2014 U410: USA Gymnastics National Congress– 2008, 2010, 2011, 2015 W310: USA Gymnastics Region 4 Compulsory Workshop– 2013 Other Training and Certification: American Heart Association, Heart Saver Pediatric First Aid Certification American Heart Association, CPR and AED Adult, Infant, Child Certification American Heart Association, Asthma Care Training Certification Stop the Bleed, Bleeding Control v. 1.0 Course Certification Joe Owner USAG Professional Member NCSI Background Checked “I have been coaching gymnastics since 2011. I originally worked for Mississippi Valley Gymnastics Academy, but then purchased the business with Nicole. We have two cats at home, Cooper and Charlie. We also enjoy camping and spending time with our family and friends. I love being the MEANEST coach in the gym (AKA silliest coach) and I have a passion for encouraging and building up our students! While I never imagined that I would own my own business, it has been amazing to serve our Fitnastics families by building connections with our clients and the kids. “I have been coaching gymnastics since 2009.  I originally worked for Mississippi Valley Gymnastics Academy, but then left for college.  I attended Coe College where I studied Public Relations and Business Administration, and then decided to attend Trinity College of Nursing and Health Sciences where I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  During college, I would sub for Joe and  Nicole when I was home on break.  After graduating from Coe, I returned to the area and coached during my free time, and now, I coach when I am not working at my “real” job in the Emergency Room. I love being able to help gymnasts learn skills that they thought they would never be able to do!  Seeing a child succeed at what they thought was impossible is incredible!” Allie’s Training and Certifications Include: USA Gymnastics University Courses: U100: Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction Certification U110: USOC SafeSport Certification U101: Safety and Risk Management Certification Other Training and Certification: AHA, Heart Saver Pediatric First Aid Cert.- ‘19 AHA, CPR and AED Adult, Infant, Child Cert.– ‘19 AHA, Asthma Care Training Cert.– ‘19

My favorite thing about working at Fitnastics is the atmosphere! It is so nice to come to work with people that are happy. It is so fun to work here and share my bubbly personality with others.” Fitnastics is a fun, fitness focused, gymnastics program where we aim to not only to safely teach your children the fundamentals of gymnastics and fitness, but to instill the values of discipline, hard work, confidence, and determination. “I have been in the gym for as long as I can remember. I competed as a Level 8 for Fitnastics until 2017 when I graduated and left for college.  I attended the University of Northern Iowa, studying elementary education.  While at college, I coached competitive gymnastics for Ruby Gymnastics.  I now have teach at a local school and love coaching in my spare time. I love seeing kids develop a passion for gymnastics, just like I do.  I also love getting to know each and every kid that I work with and watching them succeed. “ Jayden’s Training and Certifications Include: USA Gymnastics University Courses: U100: Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction Certification U110: USOC SafeSport Certification U101: Safety and Risk Management Certification
