When can I register my child for a class? Do you have sessions?
We offer classes year round and accept new students at any time. We do not have sessions or have registration periods.
If you would like to register your child in one of our classes, please contact the office and we will be happy to answer all
questions you may have and sign your child up over the phone!
My child missed a class, what do I do?
Your child can make up in a class of the same level as long as there is room available. For every absence, your child will
receive a make up token. Please stop in or call the office, or visit the Parent Portal to schedule a make up. Please note:
There are no refunds for missed classes, and make ups are only allowed if your account is current. MAKE UPS WILL NOT BE
ALLOWED IF YOUR ACCOUNT IS PAST DUE. (Make up tokens can only be used within a paid month and
cannot be substituted for tuition. Once a child’s enrollment is cancelled, all make up tokens are forfeited.)
What do I need to do if my child is going to miss a class? What if we would like to cancel our enrollment?
Please call the office and let us know you will be missing a class if at all possible. TO DROP FROM A CLASS: A PARENT
OR GUARDIAN ON THE ACCOUNT MUST NOTIFY THE OFFICE IN WRITING (email, mailed letter, or note to the
office.. Please do not rely on your child to let us know that he/she will no longer be attending classes. PLEASE NOTE:
You are responsible for payment for your student’s classes WHETHER OR NOT YOUR CHILD ATTENDS CLASS
until the time you notify the office IN WRITING.
Can I take a month off from classes and return the following month?
Due to the high demand and long waiting lists for classes, we do not “hold spots” for unpaid months. If you decide to
take a month off, a parent or guardian MUST notify the office IN WRITING BEFORE THE 1st of the month you wish to
take off. However, doing so may result in you losing your child’s spot to someone wanting to get in the class. As an
alternative to taking the month off, we do offer two weeks of vacation per family per year. Contact the office for more
information on our vacation policy.
Do I get a discount on tuition if Fitnastics is closed for holidays, weather, breaks, etc? What holidays do
you close for?
Our tuition is monthly, not based on a specific number of classes per month. If a student receives only three classes in a
month due to holidays, weather, or scheduled closings, the tuition is the same as if a student receives the usual four
classes or the occasional five classes per month. Weather-related closings will be announced on our home page, our
Facebook page, and our answering machine. Classes missed due to any of the above closings, or for any other
circumstances, may be scheduled as a make up class through the office. Please see the information regarding make ups
under the first questions above.
We always close for Easter (Friday through Sunday), Memorial Day (Friday through Monday), Independence Day (July 4th
only), Labor Day (Friday through Monday), Thanksgiving (Thursday through Sunday), Christmas and New Years (December
24th through January 2nd). Any other closings will be communicated via notes and emails.
When is tuition due?
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. All tuition paid early (before the first of the month) will receive a $5 early bird
discount. All tuition paid ON or after the first of the month will be full price. Any account not paid by the 30th
of the month will be charged an additional $5 for every 30 days they are past due. Competitive Team accounts will have a
$10 late fee if they are not paid by the 15th of the month. Statements are sent only on past due accounts. Please
remember, if you plan to take time off from our program, please notify the office in writing. Tuition will be charged to
each account regardless of attendance if we are not notified.
Will my tuition be automatically charged to my card that is on file in the Parent Portal? Can I sign up for
auto pay?
Cards that are on file in the Prent Portal will NOT be automatically charged for tuition. We do offer auto pay through
e-Checks. Please stop in the office to fill out a form. Auto-pay charges are run on the 25th of the month prior to the due
date. To cancel your auto pay, please send us a WRITTEN notice.
Do I receive a discount for having more than one child enrolled? What about one child in multiple classes?
Each child after the first child receives a $10 discount. If a child is in more than one class, they receive a 25% discount off
the second class (of lesser value).
How often does my child get evaluated on their skills?
Coaches at Fitnastics evaluate your child on an ongoing basis. You can view your child’s skill progress through the Parent
Portal at any time. You will be notified by the instructor when your child is ready to move up to the next level. Children
can be moved as soon as they have mastered all of the required skills for their level. If you have any questions about your
child’s progress, it is best to ask the instructor. They spend the most time with your child and will have the best answers
for your questions.
